This remote allows you to trigger a flash and / or camera housing synchronously with the opening of the shutter of your camera.

It therefore requires a flash that is located near a camera subject to avoid direct lighting often lack charm or, for example, for a light day against that highlights the edges of a subject. This prevents remote file that connects the camera or flash. It also allows the same time, if you wish to order a second camera body for shooting from a different angle or for a self-portrait shot of the photographer in action.
