Discover the Maxi Grouse, our spacious wildlife hide designed for photographers and nature watchers who want to share their passion or work with more extensive equipment. Ideal for duo sessions, this hide offers maximum concealment and enhanced comfort in the field, allowing two people to observe and photograph wildlife simultaneously.

 

The Maxi Grouse is a quick-setup hide that combines generous space with excellent camouflage. Made from waterproof 150D Oxford polyester and coated with a black lining, it provides perfect darkness inside—essential for remaining invisible to wildlife. Its clever design allows for instant deployment and easy transport, making it a must-have for photography teams or demanding observers.

 

For increased stability, the hide comes with two roof poles that fit halfway up in the interior corners, arching and raising the roof by about 30 cm. While optional, these poles are highly recommended in rainy conditions or for extended setups to prevent water from pooling. They’re also appreciated by taller users.

 

The hide features four external attachment points at mid-height in each corner for securing the included guy ropes and pegs. Additionally, straps at the base of each corner allow for anchoring with four extra pegs (also included). For extra camouflage, twelve small loops are sewn onto the outside for attaching branches, foliage, or reeds.

 

An internal pocket is located on one of the four walls, ideal for storing unused window modules or other lightweight accessories.

Main Entrance:

A single door with a thick zipper, operable from both inside and outside. It can be half-opened to create a large mesh window with an integrated sleeve for your telephoto lens.

 

Side Opportunity Windows:

Both side walls feature discreet zippered windows, ideal for quick shots when wildlife appears to the side. Each has a blackout zippered section and a mesh section with a central slit.

 

Front Panel (Double Station Configuration):

This panel is designed to accommodate two simultaneous shooting stations, each featuring:

 

A versatile tripod pass-through opening, allowing for ground-level shooting and use of a spotting scope with a 45° eyepiece. Each opening has a 4-slider zipper: two center sliders for a tripod leg, a lower slider to form an inverted T-window 15 cm from the ground, and an upper one to form a T-window for seated use of a scope with a 45° eyepiece.

 

A main sleeve opening: A large, fully zippered modular opening that can be opened halfway or fully and lifted using drawstrings. It includes two large blackout sleeves. The upper part of each sleeve can be unzipped to create a small viewing window. When the main flap is fully open, a mesh sleeve can be installed and secured with six hooks—ideal for videographers who will appreciate the new, wider opening.
